Citizen-Led Volunteer Committee
Healthy Riverton is a citizen led community committee dedicated to improving the wellbeing of our citizens. For 2017, our focus is on suicide prevention and reducing harm from opioid use.
Suicide is the number one cause of death in children and adolescents ages 10-17 in Utah. Suicide prevention is everyone's business, and anyone can help prevent the tragedy of suicide. Join us for a FREE QPR class to learn how to access and respond to someone in crisis.
Learn more about QPR training on our website.
Click here to reserve your seat for a QPR class or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to scheudle a private class for your group of 10-30 people.
Interested in volunteering with us? We’d love to have you! We meet monthly on the first Thursday from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the city offices.
