Below is information on current and future road construction within the City.

126th South, west of Bangerter:  Construction is expected to begin March 31, 2008 and last approximately 12 weeks. The remaining items to be completed are as follows: ·         Extend the South Valley Sewer District line through the intersection of 4570 West to a point just west of the Maverick store. In order to complete this phase of construction, 12600 South will be completely closed at the intersection of 4570 West. 12600 South from Bangerter to 5600 West will be open to local access only. However, residents east of the closure will be required to use alternate routes to go west and visa versa; those to the west of the closure will be required to use alternate routes to travel east. This closure will last approximately 4 weeks while the contractor constructs the sewer line under the Kern River gas line and through the intersection. ·         Reconstruct the north side of 12600 South from the canal bridge to 4570 West intersection. ·         Overlay the entire roadway from the canal bridge to 4570 West intersection. ·         Tie in existing properties and complete landscaping. 134th South, Bangerter to 5200 West: Final construction items are already underway such as raising of manholes, striping and property tie-ins. In order to better accommodate detoured traffic, construction in the roadway will not be permitted during the closure of 126th South.
