Days of fun are in store with Riverton City's annual Town Days celebration! Town Days honors American Independence, provides a source of fun for kids at every age, and gives residents a quality, long-standing tradition that can be counted on for cherished memories, year-after-year.
3-Man Sorting & Riverton Rodeo: June 29, 30 & July 1
Town Days Parade: July 3, 6:30 p.m.
Our July events kick off on Monday, July 3, with one of the best parades in the entire state. The parade route makes the turn on 13400 S. heading north on Redwood Road to 12800 S. and then left to end at the Riverton City Park, where a variety of food and activities will be waiting for you. The night will wrap up with one of our famous Movies In the Park, showing at dusk.
Please note: Due to UDOT construction, there will be NO spectator chairs, ropes, blankets, etc., used for saving a spot, allowed on Redwood Road until Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.. NO EXCEPTIONS. Items placed before Saturday will be disposed of by the contractor. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Flag Raising Ceremony: July 4, 6:30 a.m.
You'll want to wake up early Tuesday morning so you don't miss the early-morning Flag Ceremony at the Riverton City Park, presented by the Riverton American Legion Post 140 at the park entrance flag pole at 1452 W. 12600 S.
Riverton Country Mile & Tour De Riverton: July 4
Next, running and bike races begin with the Riverton Country Mile 10K, 5K and 1-Mile and the Tour De Riverton bike race. Starting lines will be on the south side of the park along 12800 S.
Chuck Wagon Breakfast: July 4, 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Whether you ran a country mile or made the 25-mile bike ride, you'll want to make sure you wake up with a big appetite on Saturday morning. Riverton's Chuck Wagon Breakfast has become famous for its outstanding food, prepared and served by appreciated resident volunteers, City staff, Mayor Bill and City Council Members.
Free Swimming & Contests: July 4, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The young and young-at-heart look forward to splashing good fun each year with a morning of free swimming and fun contests like Greased Water Melon, Tanning, Cannon Ball, Diving-For-Dollars, and more at the South County Pool located at 12765 S. 1125 W.
Riverton Town Days 11th Annual ATV Rodeo: July 4, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Visit the Rodeo Arena to enjoy ATV racing from individuals and teams. Races will include Pole Bending,Barrel Racing, Panty Hose Race, Key Hole Race and a Hide Race. It will be muddy and competitive. Entertainment & Activities: July 4, All-Day
You'll enjoy endless opportunities for entertainment and fun as well as the chance to simply sit back and enjoy friends and family at the beautiful Riverton City Park, throughout the day on Saturday. Your Town Days brochure outlines the list of activities, including everyone's favorite Bingo in the large pavilion, Haystack Dive, children's games, and specialty lawn games. Many activities are free of charge, but be sure to bring money for food and specialty vendors.

Fireworks at the Riverton City Park: July 4, 10:00 p.m.There are fireworks... and then there are Riverton City Town Days Fireworks. We have plenty of room at the Riverton City Park for everyone to watch this awesome display. Bring your blankets, sit back and get comfy for a great show!
